Abstract

Translation of research findings and reports in every field of science and technology from one language to another has remained the surest means of disseminating scientific and technological information, thus assisting scientific and technological communities of the world to be abreast of the latest developments in the areas of scientific and technological discoveries, inventions, and advancements(Ajunwa,2014).This paper x-rays the concept and importance of scientific-technical translation, through commentaries on the French-English Translation of the chosen text ‘’Quelle Radiothérapie  pour quel Cancer?’’, in medical Pysics, in  terms of its  language ,content ,organisation and expression ,on one hand, and stylistic problems encountered in its translation operation, as well as steps taken to overcome them ,on the other hand.
